My DC2 Race Car Now K20'd


sick! thats aloooot of nice parts, i think you are definitely going down the right road for reliable track power :)
 
Thanks for the comments lads, have removed the lca's and fitted hardrace bushes, also took the uprights off to fit roll centre adjusters. Also removed the front subframe and steering rack. Going to split the rack and grease it up as I'm doing away with the power steering.

Removed the driver side b18 engine mount and installed the hybrid racing one to check fit

Still need to tidy it up and spray it CW
 
Well I've been dragging my ass lately, had the rack out, split and greased and new bushes fitted, had the subframe out and cleaned up, new bushes in front LCA as the other ones were done. Got it all fitted again on sat.

At the minute she looks like this :((

It should be going onto it's wheels this week and going to painter to get the inside and the bay sprayed to tidy it up.
Then need to start getting it together, the first saloon race is the 31st of march so not long away!!! Gonna try make it :lol:
 
Good stuff Patton we've been waiting for an update, maybe have to call round see this thing and see how you went bout splitting the rack.... going tackle mine soon.

You mean in the ITCC? Not really considered it, just was trying to get out to our saloons championship up here. The ITCC came up to do a round at one of our meetings
