My 1998 EJ6 Project


Went today to the repair shop! I took the lips so they can be painted, also took some photos of the car's repairing process :p

Rear bumper was on the paiting process so I didn't had the chance to test the lip fitment :((

Well everything is going as planned, I'll hope to have the car in like 2 weeks on the streets :)

dude good luck with the project, i thought i had a lot to do to get the rust on my rear arches sorted i dont feel so bad now any way as said good luck i look forward to seeing the end results.
 
:nerv: Thanks guys for your comments, well I'm a bit scared right now, and I hope that the car ends up good, is impossible to make it look as new, but I hope the repair shop can get it sorted out :nerv:

I had one of those front lips, its a facelift style lip for prefacelifts, there shockingly bad, i went for the oem ek9 pre. one :nice:

wow, that rear quarter has seen better days:shocked:, hope the repair shop are good with the filler:nice:
not been able to get on here for ages! whats happened to the dc2?

I might need to change the trunk, but I'm short in cash I'll see what I figure out this week :nono:

Thats some nice work on the rear quarter. What method did you use to get it back to shape?

They use a machine to pull the piece back to its original shape, after this they use a welding machine to rejoin the pieces of metal. Using special hammers they do the "shape" again. I will take a photo of the machine they use to pull the wrecked metal pieces :nice:
 
your using the stock motor, i want c this happen, i know its gonna turn out great, if i like the engine, i might just keep mine and build it from there

Yeah, its going to be my daily drive, if I get a cheap K20A I might think on swapping the D16 for it :)
 
Probably I'll get a B18C 98 spec for this car :nerv:
