no, it really didn't last too long, plus the car got stolen shortly after :( It will look good though, it really adds nice touch to the car, really gives the front end a much more agerssive look!!

Wow RVM that's some serious body work you have to do. Good luck with it!

i have owned 3 96 civic dx/cx, it is a very common problem, the catalytic converter is right there opposed to being underneath like the ex/si and the casting is very thin. So the cat gets VERY hot (thats how they work) and the casting cant handle it and cracks. There are aftermarket OEM replacement ones that have much thicker castings now, i am currently using one of the aftermarket OEM replacement units on my mothers car, i bought her a 96 ej6 automatic a few years back and i had to replace that so it would pass emissions. Her engine is dieing now though, very bad rod knock, previous owner never changed the oil lol... i want to see if i can put an Automatic b16a in there for her lol!!!!!!

Auto b16a! Hahahaha! Where did you get an aftermarket OEM one?

I got one locally from a company called Allied Exhaust, we have a wholesale account with them, i don't know if they sell to the public but you can also find them on ebay. The ideal thing to do in my opinion though would be to just get a normal header and relocate the cat to underneath by using an OEM 96-00 civic EX cat but then you have to extend the sensors, you have a few options, its up to you how you want to do it...
