more power from my b18c ek9?

i have a 96 ek9 with a b18c conversion its running the standard setup ecu manifold etc. im not sure where the best areas are too start tweeking.
all information welcome ...
 
yeah im look for a header now .. im looking for something that will give me really good flow for a highcomp build with a true 2.5" outlet. the s300 ive been told is what i need to meet my needs now and for future high comp mods. on the intake side of things i was looking into ITB but the cost soon runs away with you.
 
Toda or Tegiwa Header has 2.5" outlet i think, again depends on budget.

Ive currently just put a b18 in my ek9 and im running; FEELS 4-2-1 header, de-cat, BOYZ Zero CST catback, OEM airbox with Spoon Panel, HKS plugs, Magnacore 10mm leads, RC310cc injectors, Walbro255 FP, Exedy Stage 1 clutch, Fidanza Flywheel, MFactory 4.9 FD + loads of other little bits. Its getting mapped on S300 Monday so ill post the results up to give you something to compare too. :)

Hey sorry just a quick question, Iv just stroked my b16b and gained 20wkw and 35 wheel torque and I'm very happy with the gains! Did you drive your 1800 before fitting the 4.9 FD?? And if so, was the step up to the 4.9 as big as the step up from b16b to b18cr? Just after another big jump, thanks in advance =)

drove my integra standard then put in the 4.9 final drive and noticed a really gain difference defo worth the money

Don't get hung up on high compression, it is not the holy grail of NA power as often seems to be believed in Honda circles.
 
repetition and lazyness is the human race, it's okay if people ask the same question more than once, maybe the op feels more comfortable if people tell him rather than him searching, plus the search function isnt all that great ya know?
 
True, but every few months there's one of these threads and it's just the same debate over and over again. There's nothing wrong in starting a thread like providing you're at least armed with some knowledge and don't expect to be completely "spoon fed".

It's not hard to have a quick search through Google... I dunno, maybe it's just me... I've just got fed up with lazy bone idle people.
 
Dragging it off topic, but this would be on quiet forum of people didn't ask questions they could find answers to elsewhere on the Internet or Honda forums...

Stage 1:
Bolt-ons & Remap

Stage 2:
K-Swap

Stage 3:
Supercharger

Stage 4:
Turbocharge it to the max.

Stage 5:
stage 1-4 together :D
 
my car is a 98 spec ek9 sorry miss type . thanks for the useful advise . does anyone know the final drive ratio for the 96 spec itr gearbox? if you could post you dyno results it would be nice too know the kinda of gains that you got from your mods
