K20 running problems HELP

Well we drove it all weekend put atleast another 100 miles on it with all kinds of driving, spirited, country rds, motorway anf town with no further problems.

Can you explain this further i.e is it doing it when you get on the throttle or when trying to hold a small throttle opening?

I feel it most arround 2nd and 3rd gear town work mainly. If I lift off and let the revs drop down it will hesitate sometimes almost bog slightly. It happens after changing gear sometimes and is normally when I am accelerating gently.

I have notice it's been much worse since I changed my back box.

Like I said its low rpm I initially thought it was the I-VTEC pronounced from the mods but it is getting annoying now. Much worse when engine is cold

Check tps voltage with throttle closed make sure it's falling below .5volts when closed

Also noticed my fuel economy is not as good as I thought it would be. 140 miles to first half a tank...

Measure the tps voltage at ecu be easier to access

No as in right under it, well actually part of it sits up behind glove box but iirc the plug side of ecu sits below glove box

TPS measures 0.5 CT and 4.55 WOT

TPS drops to only 0.49 when running....

WTF was really hoping I'd find this to be the problem

Measured my coil packs on 20k ohms resistance

2 measured 1.08
1 measured 1.23
1 measured 1.25

Seems ok to me...

You could adjust back the TPS a small bit, try get it to .46 volts with throttle closed.

If the engine is bucking with on/off transition of thottle then a mount could be broke/worn...

You may need a scope on that tps...

Perhaps it's just the way it drives??? I don't know I am stumped... Maybe it's a combination of lots of things...

Nah they normally drive real nice. Driver's side mount(oil filled) is common one to go on the EP3's check it out
