It's fuel.

Injecting that far away has proved beneficial for atomization and has been proven to give more power. A test was done years ago on a B16A that gave some pretty unbelievable gains.

Wish I had saved it.

What about compared to Direct fuel Injection? I know this is the most efficient but what about power wise?

You can see the fuel dripping down the trumpets :D

The OBX ITB kit has the injectors firering down the trumpets. Looks awesome

I recall that test clearly!! It was done a few years ago by (iirc) HCI Magazine, 16whp was gained from simply moving the injectors from the factory location to the end of the trumpets, this was obviously on an ITB setup on a b16, and this was NOT a full race engine, the goal of the entire build was only 200whp.

And very nice video's by the way, the F1 stuff always amazes me...

I'd love to see the Cams, valves, valve springs, pistons etc etc from a F1 engine in action!

Apparently Honda can rev their F1 engines to rev to 23k but regulations wont let them so they have to limit them so i heard.

Man I just love the sound of those F1 engines! I wish they made road legal cars to rev that high, its remarkable how much each component is tested and how much strain it must undergo!

Cheers :nice:
Josh..

Your damm right! That guy must be deaf!
Just a quick question - "What material are the F1 exhausts made from?"

Josh.
