Got a Type R at last!

Haha, well it's tempting but I want to take a break from it for a while. I need to focus some time on the neglected 'proper' race project... ;)

Kozy your project lookes class and a k20 yould be rather nice Init or a b16 as its cheaper.

Congratualtions Kozy.

Here's a question for you: Would you have prefered the B16A2 or the H22A (with b series box) in your old EK?

Nice buy Kozy, Flat mate has one with a few bits done to it.

You been on the accord forum yet?

Nice one Kozy :win: I've always liked these, would like to see more pics :nice:

At the moment it's a Hyabusa engine, but they are quite expensive so if I might swap it out for a smaller 600cc bike engine, maybe an R6. Still very much in early design phase at the moment, no idea whether I'll ever get round to building it but reckon it would cost in excess of £10k easily. :nono:

H22 is a nice lump and suits the bigger Accord well, while an EK with one would no doubt go like stink I honestly reckon the B16B was better suited to the smaller car!

Ye thats the problem with busa engines people know they can sell them at premium because so many people use them for kit cars. You thought about using a 1100cc Honda Blackbird engine? They arnt as expensive as busa engines and make good power (160bhp i think) saying that a modern 600 would be lighter and make nearly the same power.
Hope you make it at somepoint, bet that will be a mega car.

The missus had a go in it yesterday. Think she likes it. :)
