Had a hoon about today, bit of motorway and a bit of B road blasting. Utterly bloody brilliant, I love it already! :D:D:D

YES mate !!!!! Good old boy.. Happy to hear you are happy with it dude.

KOZY in a type r... never thought id see the day :p long time coming :nice:
H22 powaaaaaa lol

very nice kozy!, always been curious to know how good the accord type Rs peform and drive.

Will get some more up once I've had a chance to wash all the bug splats off and give her a proper polish.

As for the drive, I really did not expect it to be as good as it is, it blows my Civic out of the water. It's a bigger heavier car for sure but it really shrinks around you on a quiet B road, feels so much smaller than it is and more agile than it should be!

Good to hear mate... how you finding the tourque?

The torque is nice, you don't have to drop one and nail it for overtakes (though obviously you would) and it cruises really well. Quite relaxed but still mental when you gun it.

As I was warned, gear ratios feel a bit wrong, drops out of VTEC between changes, but on the plus side you get the kick every time! :D

The suspension is fantastic. That won't be getting modified!

Sick man sounds great. Haha brilliant i knew you'd phraise the suspension, Type R suspension as always. OEM Ftw !!

OEM FTW indeed. Totally stock bar a nice chrome gearknob and some exhaust tips. I am going to try my hardest to keep her that way, she's a real clean example.

Annoyingly, now i have a nice car I'm going to keep to learn how to work a sponge...

happy days man! they're a bit sore on juice when you put the foot down!

Yea, bit of a shock after my 45mpg diesel! I reckon she was doing low 20s today but hey, it's a new car, so hopefully that will improve.

So so good to be back begin the wheel of a Honda though, it's been a long depressing year in the Mondeo!

Congrats mate looks real clean. Have always like these but i didnt think it would be that much better then the civic. So it might have a chance at autotest then :D

Very nice indeed Sir..

Lol that would be an enjoyable plus side :p

Now this really is a bit too big for that sort of thing! Might give it a cheeky go round one of the bigger courses, but I won't be competing in it really. I'll get back into that next year with an MX5 I reckon. Interestingly if I want to do a sprint I'll run in class 5, which will be the same as my mates supercharged MX5. That would be an interesting battle round an airfeild... :D

I reckon the Civic was certainly better in outright performance, but as a road car this thing has all the boxes ticked.

Haha nothing wrong with a cheeky go :p but ye thought it might be abit big for that Mazda mx5 will be good i imagen good weight distribution, rwd and fairly light. Sprints will be interesting im sure you can have him :D weird class structure though if a stock atr is going against a all singing all dancing mx5.

Suppose you do get tried of all out performance in the end especially if its your daily.

Yea pisser about the sprints but for the ones we do, the 'road going' classes only go up to 2000cc, anything over goes into class 5 which is simply '2WD over 2000cc', so can incude all sorts, Porsches, TVRs, Ferraris etc etc.

Pretty sure I won't be winning anything there then... :nono:

Ye that is abit of a piss take, would think they would have done it on power to weight.

Never know the Porshe's might understeer off at the first bend, the TVR's will follow them in whilst wildly oversteering and the Ferrari's will explode in a fireball :p.

Hmmm, I might have an edge in endurance, not sure of the benefits on a sub 2 minute run though haha!
