Well most of yous will have seen my project!

Here is my Dyno Video!

YouTube - Civic EK4 VTi B18C6 209.7bhp

209.7Bhp - 178.4Whp - 138ft lbs

Pretty good results from a stock engine!

As far as dyno accuracy on the day - as we have had this discussion before i compared my car to many. I'll make a list of the some of the cars and figures so you can judge by yourselves.

Honda Civic VTi (with my old b16 engine) - 159bhp
Honda Civic VTi-S - 163bhp
Honda Civic VTi - 164bhp
Honda Integra Si - 175bhp
Honda JDM 98 Spec ITR - 195bhp (he was gutted when he seen my results)
Nissan Skyline R33 GTR - 389bhp
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV - 267bhp
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV - 270bhp
Mazda 3 MPS (or something like that) - 254bhp
Suzuki Ignis Sport - 116bhp

So your stock b16a2 ek makes more power than stock and built ek9's and dc2's. Nice. What dyno was it btw? have you been to the 1/4? To me, dyno's are a cars own milestone. I don't believe in comparisons with other cars, track is where it's really at! (IMO!)

Its a B18C6 UKDM Integra Type-r Motor that is in my Civic

If you look in the project section by build is in there.

Oh and it was a Dastek Dyno

Dastek's dyno seems to be fairly accurate, was at a RR day there begining of summer and between all the cars they were pulling how they should!!

good figures though :)

Ahh! under your avatar it said b16a2 crew and also when you said stock engine, didn't know you meant a c6!

Lol - its ok mate! I realised i hadnt made it clear if you hadnt seen my build thread!

when you say stock motor wha exactly do you mean?

What mods have you got? that is a great figure. I would be well happy with that after my 1800cc build pretty stock!

nice numbers! congratulations mate! :)

that dyno number just about right not to mention this dyno is the most accurate dyno compare to any dyno machine. it's called dyno dynamics, in other words (hearth breaker) coz of the low reading. if you dyno a stock sti, it will read 215 whp. 178 whp on that engine is pretty accurate.

Cheers Guys!

The full mods are:

Heatwrapped DC Sports 4-1 Ceramic Manifold 2.5" Collector
2.5" Decat
Buddyclub Prospec 2.5" cat back system
J's Racing Intake (fibreglass one not carbon)
NRG Torque Damper
Excedy stage 1 racing clutch
Excedy Lightened Flywheel 4kg's
JDM 98 Spec ITR ECU

The rest of my mods are suspension and cosmetic so theres no point listing them!

And what i mean by stock motor is that internally its a stock engine - its only bolt ons that is providing extra power and a better fuel map using the JDM 98 Spec ECU

Thats put a smile on my face :)

When i have done my build with a few basic mods i could see similar figures(obviously all engines are different) but will have a newly built motor so, thats good news...

great figures

Yep hopefully you will see similar results.

One thing however - my friend with the 98 Spec DC2 has decat, cat back system, some strange intake and a Spoon ECU and its also just been fully rebuilt and is only making 195bhp which is strange!

That is strange?

Maybe its down to the map its self.... Im wondering if its that spoon ECU?

Because thats below standard for a B18C........... Saying that it is well know you should always take dynos with a pinch of salt as i have seen some real odd reeading in my time, but on the road they go great.......

How does his car fair up to yours speed wise? He will have a bit more weight but you should be able to work it out.... Do you leave him pretty hard? Providing youve raced him obviously...
