blow up my dc2 96 spec


well i no da bud. but when i look at the pullys there a way out my 3 teeth so they have move when she got 3th gear at da speed like. but what can u do but mind were 5th at next time lmao.

The pulleys would have moved out of alignment because of the forces against the cams with the valvetrain being mashed.

Did the timing belt not snap?
 
It looks to me that No.3 piston left the rod and you've had some piston to valve contact. The hard thing to get your head around is that all this would of happend in less than a split second !

We had one in work , 3cyl yaris was towed in , put it on the ramp and there was a bit of a valve sticking out the sump :lol:
 
...big lump of scrap aluminum, should be worth some money as aluminum at a recycling center. Has anyone tried this? Wonder what it would fetch?

I've NEVER seen anything like it. I'd sell that block as "Hondart". I'd probably pay a tuppence to see it in person
 
holy roasted turkey batman! :shocked: 5 star effort on destroying that engine! TBH it was going to happen sooner than later if your reving that high on the standard valvetrain, racing all the derv's round cookstown! :lol:
