Annoyed with Tegiwa

Neither the tegiwa or the skunk2 manifold I've had fit with the engine mounts

I'd like to clarify that this is not Tegiwa's fault. It seems the early hybrid racing mounts require a certain manifold to fit and I wasn't aware of this.

Tegiwa's customer service and communication has been excellent. Just going to change the mounts and try again

That manifold has had "Due 03/13" in the title on the website for nearly 2 months now, so why wouldn't you confirm it's in stock before buying it? And then rant about how the email system wasn't fast enough when you were emailed on the same day?

Look it was a rant that yes the emailed fast but who checks their emails every day, not me, and after having missed this on their website saying 03/13 and asking for a discount code to order a manifold "either tommorow or a week tommorow" I felt I ccould have been informed at that point. I can't believe I missed this on there website tho I did order at like 5am half asleep and after receiving the discount code the night before it was just a case of add to basket. I was pissed off yesterday but a resolution is now in place

Also it was to easy to vent my anger in an active thread, a subtle pm next time. Tegiwa responded with good customer service and explained they are working on the issues so I can't ask for any more. Please lock this thread!!

Looking in as an outsider, I'm very impressed with Tegiwa.

Bought from them in the past and would have no hesitations about doing so again in the future. :nice:

Email timings is an odd one, some people think a response within a day is good, if I took an hour at work to respond to a simple email then all hell would break loose, about 7 minutes is the expected time for a response and about 30mins 'acceptable'

Depends on many factors. Time of day (he did order at 5am), volume of transactions, processing times etc

In this situation, the problem was not the response time but that it wasn't displayed as "out of stock" prior to purchase.

Problem looks to have been handled well and godfridge seems happy.

see i thought Tegiwa were the top dogs but i was informed other wise, espcially when it comes to nuts and bolts. (correct me if im wrong)
