Yep the 4 section doesn't clear the steering rack, won't go on the studs on back of head

Can't fault the customer service, top bunch of lads

Had lots of them in the past including 1st ever ep3 catback and didn't have any problems

Just timing on this with everything being done this month
 
I think some people just jump on the bandwagon whenever a company is getting bashed,
Tegiwa's customer service is second to none, and I personally have never had an issue with one of their parts.
Fair enough if you have had parts that don't fit, or are of bad quality, then you have cause to complain, however i still think some people just like to join in and have a moan.
Probably civiclife members...
 
I've bought 3 items from them
B-series 'fastline knock-off' shifter, poor finish required slight mods to fit (had to chase for my promised refund)
Exhaust gaskets, nothing wrong with them but damn expensive compared to the motor factors.
ITR silicone intake hose, doesn't really fit over the std airbox pipe properly, chopped ut to use on the ek in the end
Mate of mine bought the 'toda knock-off' exhaust manifold the holes didn't line up and when compared to the quality of my actual toda he decided to sell it and buy a second hand toda!

the wifes EK was bought fitted with some of those dress up washers which a few have split, all the bolts have rusted and the kevlar plug cover has the weave going majorly of the piss near all the bolt holes.

I'm sure they sell some good stuff and I've heard lots of good stuff about their second hand parks from breaking stuff. maybe I'm just unlucky as all the bits I have had have been pretty damn poor. I've learned my lesson, OEM or quality aftermarket.

We have had problems In the past with products, most of what you have outlined Puggie has been addressed. For example the manifold will have been from the first batch nearly three years ago. Two holes had to be drilled out to 11mm. The past 400 manifolds have not had this issue.

The washers splitting? Not heard that one before, we have personally installed 1000's of these and never come across that. The bolts you talk of going rusty. Yes (but only BLACk) around 2 years ago we 'blackodized' mild steel bolts as we were unaware of coatings available to blacken stainless. It was at least 18 months ago this issue will have occurred. ALL are now stainless including black bolts. We can send you a sample if you would like to verify this.

The silicone intake pipe, I was not aware of this issue. We have sold 100's of these. You possibly received a faulty product.

The fast line shifters are now zinc plated and then finished in black nickel. The coating is more resistant and a more consistent finish. We have another revision to do In the next batch.

Our exhaust gaskets especially our donut gaskets are cast from Honda molds. Apart from Honda you really won't find a better gasket. The are PTFE impregnated to ensure an even better seal.

People who don't wanna buy their stuff dont have to.
If they aren't on the forum then we wont get the discount they offer.
I hate civiclife for this reason. Everyone calling them "tegiwank" etc. Its pathetic really, and I dont see why people have to join in with everyone else, have your own mind and make your own decisions about people/companies!
 
+1 on what Faboi is saying. People are so quick to jump on the bandwagon now a days. No-one is forcing people to buy from them. I have purchased a few things and not had any issues. Also picked up recently an X Brace and it seems really good quality.

Come on now, "tegiwank" show a little maturity please.

As long as a company is willing to work with the customer to resolve any issues that's fair enough IMO. It's not like Tegiwa are sticking their heads in the sand and ignoring issues that people are having with their products. People need to stop jumping on the band wagon, it doesn't benefit anyone.
 
Bought a few bits of tegiwa, never had a problem. When your a large company your never going to please 100% of people. When you specialise in a certain thing you just have to accept not everything is going to be perfect!

Not wanting to sound offensive or out but that seems like quite a childish comment to be honest.

I think its great to see a local BRITISH company getting involved in the sceene, evry case ive seen where ther has been problems tegiwa havent hesitated to offer a full refund and conducted themselves very professionaly.
 
As others have said, I've never had a problem with their service or products.

At the end of the day all company's no matter how big have trouble with their products at somepoint, It all goes down to how willing they are to help the customers and how they fix the issues.
It's nice to have a another company making new products (copy's or not) for are 12+ year old cars at a half decent price.

Yes we have had issues, but another reason we have more issues than anyone else is the sheer volume of transactions we handle. To the 'consumer' we probably out sell our nearest direct competitor 2 to 1.

eBay is always a good indication of a level of customer service. We complete over 600 transactions on there per month and our feedback is 99.7% and we are a top rated seller.

We are constantly striving to make ourselves better, by implementing systems to ensure basic errors do not occur with orders and we are always here to help on forums/facebook/email/phone.

And like you say, we are much much more than just our 'Tegiwa' branded products now - Skunk2, Takata, Exedy, Energy Suspension and Genuine Honda products are all stocked, so if you need these products we should be your source.

We are the top Mugen reseller in Europe since the start of 2013, saying that the total sales price wouldn't even cover a salary, let alone the profit!
