I'm at solid fabrications getting exhaust made and manifold fitted. Bought a tegiwa K swap header and it doesn't fit

Hits the steering rack before it meets the block and the 2 parts don't push fit together

Drove 3hrs to get here to be told mani wont go on

Textbook tegiwa fitment. My yonaka manifold took about an hour with a dremmel to line the bolt holes up, the decat wouldn't seal.

I'd only buy service parts from them, nothing they 'make themselves'.

Even their service parts I'm not sure about, bought a fuel filter and its made in S.Korea? The sticker looked pretty genuine n that..

I think South Korea make a lot of parts for both Honda and nissan. Not a bad thing, look how well Kia have done.

Suppose you're right. It was just odd looking at a red Honda sticker with "made in s.korea" on it lol

adges ago i bought K-swap shafts from them - they were too short and didn't work

phoned to tell them i was returning them for a refund and they told me they knew they were too short as they have had a few sets back - WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU CONTINUE TO SELL A PART YOU KNOW DOESN'T FIT

idiots

Pretty much everything new they make has fitment issues in my experience.

I would get on the phone mate, they should refund you and cover postage to send the item back.

Yeh

Just a shame, got mapping booked next weekend and won't be able to get a manifold on in time

shouldn of went and got one that had good reviews and from a company that does k-swap parts

Hi Sam

Sorry about the problems you are having, it's pretty strange Matt has the same manifold on his car, are Solid fab able to make it fit and we will cover the cost.

Alternatively we have a Skunk2 Kswap header in stock.
What mounts are you using? And what car?

Thanks, hope you work it out.

Honda make parts all over the world nowadays

Thailand, UK, USA, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan to name a few. You can be sure they are genuine and you are more than welcome to come and have a look at our stock to verify the authenticity.

Dc2
Hybrid racing mounts

Alan @ solid fab says he won't be able to make it fit. Needs chopping and extending to clear steering rack

Can I trade it against the s2 and pay the extra cost

If Matt can take one hone when available I'll do the swap with him

Hmmm, strange! So it's the upper section where it's still '4'? I don't know what to say apart from sorry. Matt has DC2 with hasport mounts.

Sure yeah, I'll get Matt to sort this on Monday night with you
