thats all worth a mention.anyone else find big wigs in expensive cars are always trying to pass you/cut you off etc
 
@ shooter mcgavan yeah man its a common everyday occurance wit them stuck up pr1cks and they dont like if you over take them again or cut them up on purpose, feckn knobs!! @ andrew ek9 wat colour ek9 u get?? is she on the boat or what?
 
im from craughwell .... ya its on the boat nearly here and its a yellow one with carbon fibre bonnet :drive: should have on the road for the rally
 
Ah the 'what have you beaten thread', theres one on every forum, some very funny claims here. Its very very rare for me to put my foot down on the public road, after trackdays you realise just how pointless it is. Any idiot can drive fast in a straightline & 95% of them are. The EK9 seems to attract a lot of drivers overly revving their engines or dropping the dv as they get close to you :lol:
Still occasionally its fun to watch them floundering around behind you as you actually accelerate into a corner..

I was out testing my new flywheel :nice: last week when i came across an EVO IV, got up to the light's next to him and he was complementing now how well my 9 sound's! :D
Away from the light's over about 1/4 mile, i gaind about a car length :clap:
Then from about 50 - 110mph he gaind about a car length!
Then for the best bit, down a twisty duel carrageway spilt up by a few roundabout's! By the time i stoped at some light's he was about 10 car length's behind!:bow::bow::bow:

those pulsars are rapid!! i dont know about some of the claims but then again,a car is only as quick as its driver :D

Beaten a few cars a thought I wouldnt beat in the short time I've had my 9. A few at crail but the majority on country roads with a few long stretches round my way. Lots of ace roads close to me!

My proudest was a big Audi on country roads, not sure what one it was but it was quik but no match for me on the corners!! loved it! The guy driving it was gutted!lol

Think thats it. Cars I'd like to pit me and the 9 against are a Corsa VXR, the new corolla sport, MR2 (non turbo), celica and any vauxhall redtop!!
 
Hard to swallow, but the chav box VXR would probably have you.
 
i easily beat vxr down crail then again like you say its not just about the car its wether a person can drive it or not.
 
Beat a 2 corsa vxr with ease. 2 mates have them, one of em had a 'larger' driver and 18" wheels so isnt a fair race but the other one was an averge guy lol.

also done a 182 cup and an mr2 up a straight road and embarassed em.

what the corsa VXR? nah EK9 would have it, the astra VXR is a bit of a larry one, i would have my doubts with that... But the corsa, there not all that....

Till about 100MPH the EK9 will hold its own with the astra but after that think it will have more power....
 
Fair play ! Some exceptional achievements for the EK9 (Not sure how many are actually true).
I was just wondering if anyone has had any encounters with a Mitsubishi Colt Cyborg ZR. This is similar to the EK9 with its 1.6 MIVEC engine producing 175 Bhp. My friend has one and I'd love to know if and when I finally get a '9 that its up to the "Job". I know the EK9 has more power, But, and its a bit BUT, the Cyborg has more Torque. So I would be interested to know how people have compared with this car ?
