What have you beaten in your ek9?


My dads JDM DC2 with breathing mods has had:

R33 GTS-T
BMW's 325, 330d, 330 ci.
Focus ST
Golf GTI
Sierra Cosworth (stock)
UK Spec Subaru WRX
Astra VXR
Corsa VXR
Vectra VXR
Focus RS
Porsche Cayenne Turbo :win: lol.

Lost to neighbour's VXR8 lol. He used to own the vectra and astra.

I will get a proper engine sometime :).

R35GTR with about 15k in the engine and just over 400hp. ! That thing had some real topend powr though. 130+ it was quicker.

an aparently '500'bhp Subaru old shape

out-accellerated my friends CBR600 from a 40 roll :bow:
RS4 going from scunthorpe lol blitz'd away from it.

Lots of other stuff too lol. I wish I built this with flanged sleeves so I could run more boost safely.

F355 Fair play i would love to cane a ferrari, id love to see his face and hear him try and explain to his passenger why a civic beat him quality.:win:

this year at the local drag strip an event was held between the ferrari club and the escorts mk1 racers club. the guys from the ferrari club were all so cool looking and playing it smartheads with everyone. By the end of the event NOT one ferrari managed to take a win! Not even one! Seriously you would be amazed at how hopeless those things are at the 1/4th mile. the ferrari's were doing in the region of 12.5 - 13.2 I think while the escorts were doing 11 seconds!
 
yo has any one beaten any of the clio sports? as iv seen as few vids of them against the 2001-2005 civic type r s which if im not mistaken are k20 engines and they got rinced by the clio sports!!!

thou standard they are like 170bhp to 190bhp the clio sports....

any one? please tell me you someone has as i hate ALL french cars!
 
Not really had much fun with anything on the road who i didnt know but my car keeps up with three of my mates ITR's

One of these is parkers ITR with exhaust, de cat, manifold, J's racing induction, Spoon ECU and there is actually nothing between us until well well well above the speed limit when he slowly starts to pull on me.

Had a rolling start with an astra VXR and there was actually no competition, EK9 Destroyed the Astra and the boy was definatly going for it.

i love how the dcar suprises so many things that it shouldnt be able to :D

Theyre pretty quick standard but dont think much to the build quality. I can pull away from the mid-engined ones no problem :p
 
which are the mid engined ones?

yeh all french cars fall apart useless at making cars they are.

x4 clio 172 (easy kills)
x2 clio 182(pulles past fairl easily)
over 10 starlets(various modded ones)
Scooby WRX UK model(pulles past again fairly easily)
Tuned up 106GTI(was very close)
delo sol(blown away)
CRX
EK4(blown away)
182BHP EG civic
Integra
Golf GTI turbo Mk4 (soo easy, my friends)
Mazda 323GTR with mods(friends)
Red top 2.0litre Corsa(Friends)

Got beaten by:
290BHP starlet(friends)
350BHP starlet(friends)
EP3 civic( it was definietly tuned up but guy denied it, playing dumb) Sounded crazy! Just had alot more after 100MPH
WRX import(tuned)
EVO 6
Skyline R34 GTR
Metro( i know LOL) Tiny thing with 150BHP 1.8L, was super close he just had a tad more 4th grear, rest of gears was even.....

There are probably more ive gone head to head i just cant think, there the ones that stand out and are worth mentioning.

any1 ever raced those williams clios?? 2.0 litre ones older boxy shape, for a small 2 litre car they are not great at all,, one flew past me one night so i caught him and over took him, had to keep easing off the throttle to let him catch up and anytime i could see he would attempt to overtake id pull off again, even onbends it was sh1te, thats my em1 coupe before i got my catback and j;s racing whale :D

@ andrew ek9, what car are you driving atm you ever round tescos? might know ya
 
vti coupe....... i am driving a 1993 black toyota corrola wit blacked windows and silver six spoke alloys but missing a front bumper at the mo........i wouldn be in there that often jus the odd time...... i think ive seen your car round the place
