Yeah, ended up getting a second hand set in the end, only way I could justify a set as the new ones are just too expensive!!
Mod a DC2 integra rail to fit if you can't get hold of a spoon/vision rail, they sit about an inch lower than standard rails yet still maintain some incline on the base so you don't loose any support
I run my passenger seat like this and sitting in the car you can barely see over the dash and i'm 6'2" haha, ran the drivers side like this before i got a fixie seat and it was grand
Never done it myself Dan but have read that it's one of the rear bolt holes that doesn't line up. A little time with a file, or something like a Dremel tool if you have one, should sort it right out (I think the hole needs to be lengthened to meet the EK9 mount point)
Is this 100% all that needs to be done to fit the DC2 rails? Have you got a link to the brief of it? Im just a bit worried i spend the money buying and then its more hassle then i can be bothered with.
Wow £340 is a shocking price for these rails. Did I say; I bought some of these from jhpusa.com 3 years ago and it was £115, pair, delivered ! I've still got them aswell. they are in my brothers car.
EDIT: Yeah i mentioned it already, I just looked back lol.
some good info there.. only have one recaro myself out of a evolution iv.. made up brackets for it but was for too low! as in on the floor i am 6'5' and could just about see over the dash !! may look into getting a dc2 rail and modify it now!
