basically im in a position where i can afford a new car. 4k to be precise. i was looking at 20vt cupras but there are none for sale that are to my standard, but a mint Jordan has come up for sale and i plan on going to view it this week. i can get insurance on it which was the main factor, but if i keep saving i could afford a ek9 this time next year.
I just dont want my ej9 anymore as i lost my love for it as it gets abused by cunts in my area and i want something faster for my Nur trip in June.

my question is . Do i keep my car till time next year and get a 9 and spend some money on my current engine engine. (not lots) or get a Jordan if not an ek4 soon??

A healthy and well modified ek4 will be well able keep up with some ek9s lad...A year is a long way to wait to start hitting some vtec..My opinion is get the ek4 or jordon and have fun and get a ek9 when you can..
 
Toughy that mate,

I think i would do what jdm 3383 for the simple fact i am inpatient. If you are patient then save your money for an EK9.
 
I agree with JDM3383. I think been your first vtec car you will be chuffed with either a jordan or ek4. And if there is gonna be low lifes messing with your car do you really want something that is going to draw to much attention...
 
I was in your exact same postion 14 months ago, and well you can see what Iv done.

Sometimes, yeh I wish Id waited and got a black EK9 but It was a Jordan I wanted then, and tbh youl see when I finally post some pics and spec of my car later this month, not many ek9s will keep up ha.

Fairplay Iv spent 5k to make my car like this, but Id have spent the same money on an EK9 and this way has meant Iv had an extra year of driving a badass car. I bought mine when the month I turned 19, 20 now and wont be selling for a while :)
 
just seen a car on civiclife. it looks pretty special and it means i dont have to do much to it so i wont spend thousands on it
 
Wait and buy a 9! Or at the very least buy a cheap B16A to enjoy some VTEC do nothing to it and buy a 9 in a years time! Will help lower your insurance having some experience in a faster car!

IMO Do not waste your money on a Jordan they are just a yellow EK4. Unless you really crave that rarity of course. For me i'd rather have that extra 1k in goodies than yellow seats and yellow paint.

i see what your saying, i found when looking for a plain ek4 that insurance was more than a jordan. ill retry some quotes tomorrow. i may just look for an ek4 instead

i agree about the seats but common just look at the yellow on this ek makes me jizz everywhere!

If its a white one that is up on this site to you should get it..Looks mint and nice mods :D
 
i couldnt live with a jordan interior.if i was you id buy an ek4 sir,better than a vti any day ive had loads of them and a 9 is better but not a years wait better
 
a 9 aint goina be much faster than a ek4 standard on standard. I bought a jordan cause i wanted one and i wouldnt change it for an ek9 as its not going to be an upgrade worth changing it for.My next car will be alot faster than my ek something turbo with about 400bhp not something with 25bhp more from standard
