some of you may already know..

but you will not find a 13mm socket/nut on a honda as the japanese believe that the number 13 is bad luck. Useless info really but i just thought i would share it lol

interesting... Can't say the same for the german car manufacturers they seem to love using 13mm socket bolts and every other odd size bolt:angry2:

That's why I love my Honda's! Gotta give it to the Japanese, they know how to build cars..

lol, my friend's 'rado project has been sitting in his garage for months, waiting for that rare-hard-to-find bolt to come in.

lol, working on a honda? 10mm 12mm 14mm 17mm 19mm is just about all the sockets/wrenches you will ever need!

Why sir, you are both a gentleman, and a scholar!
HUZZAH!

Even though Honda's use the most cheap and rubbish bolts...

ex. when I was UN-BOLTING a earth from my valve cover and it snapped...

Youll find that when if comes to bolts honda has one of the strictest OEM regimes with standard specifications and testing of various suppliers offerings. THe fact the fastener snapped will be because of being over-tightened in the past. :blinx:

Agreed, i like the Honda bolts used, i have only seen them break when they have been rusted/overtighten/wrong tool/etc... When ever i would lose an important suspension bolt i wound always go to the dealer or salvage yard to get the replacement, i never trusted any other bolt.

Think you may have overlooked the nuts on the exhaust. The joint near to the back axle uses 13mm nut/bolt.

To be fair i think this is BS lol, because the same thing was said about naming the Plastation 3, but they still named it number 3.

funny and weird thread, i didnt know this fact anyway so learned something new
