Wel. I have just bought a 1.4 civic hatch (98) standard. i have £500 to spend and i want it to be as loud as possible but i dont want any very big engine modifications.
What i am looking is something like an exhaust, induction kit ect.

take the exhaust and manifold off that should do the trick :naughty:

bc spec 2 and a whale cock should be loud enough for you :D
 
Include a d16z6 or d16y8 intake manifold to that list
 
straight line from your manifold. should make it plenty loud! :cool: BC spec 2 FTW.

Yea a straight through would be pretty loud but im nt exactly for the ricer idea:L

any example of the BC Spec2 on a 1.4 as i am looking basically standard?

I would really not recommend a straight through system if your going to be doing any distance travelling or round town driving , it can be a tad anti social Lol .

Whale cocks is the common discripion for JsRacing carbon induction kit and theres a few replicas too . ;)

Basically all my driving is around town. so u guys mean just cut the cat out of the standard exhaust ?
if not explain what use mean by a straight through.
And Bc spec 2 de cat... read about them through different posts would that be an option ?
 
Everyone who has a car that loud eventually gets over that noise. Especially if you drive around town
 
Stright through system does what it says on the tin lol . No silencers , no cats possibly not even a back box but that a tad nuts lol .

Take mine for example it has a 3" pipe out of my turbo all the way back to the Back box nothing else in the way .

I will try and get a video and post it , bearing in mind mines is a turbo so the noise will be different ;)
 
skunk2 mega power, ebay mani and decat worked a treat for me on my old ek3 and it was LOUD!!!!! :)

icetronix over in rathcoole supply and fit dem with a decat for about 5...
i got mine a few months ago and im over the moon with it :bow: but
more with the performance side cos you'll eventually get over the noise
and will start wanting perfofmance mate :D but der LOUD :shocked:

That is one awesome sounding B18, sounds more like a straight through than a Buddyclub. Definetely want that noise from my B16A2.

It IS a straight through mate. Practically no mufflers, just a pipe with a trumpet on the back.
 
No cost to just taking the header off, well there is a cost to buying ear plugs.
