So it ran 182bhp which is the standard figure. For someone who thinks they know it all then doesnt know what PS is

Nice to see you fail in your argument, I never said engines dont lose power I said i havent seen a healthy vtec engine lose hp and you just proved it with a 14+ yr old ek9, thanks.

ps isnt european standard is it, what is your job?
i think my arguement that vtec engines lose power is proven....1 horsepower lost...you said u never saw a loss...its still a loss.

i spoke to the guys at tdi north and lots of lads at the meet that you claimed vtec engines dont lose power, some one said thats 'deluded' 'what planet is he on', maybe u should give paul @tdi a call and air your views, im pretty sure an experienced honda mechanic will tell you and correct your clearly miss informed views.




to be back on topic. wazers car is amazingly well built, hes had the right guys involved with it to be fair and hes spent his money well. hes also got OCD which is why its so clean.

At what point did I say VTEC engines dont lose power? I said a healthy VTEC engine that has been serviced properly from new. What planet are you on
that you take something I have written and changed it into your own words?

And I already mentioned rolling road dyno's arent accurate, anyway what was the exact HP figure? you seem to be avoiding that question.

For a 14+ year old car to retain its entire bhp figure from stock is absolutely incredible, and for anyone to argue the figure within 1hp is off their rocker considering dyno's arent 100% accurate.

it was 181bhp. you claimed you had never seen a read out that suggested a vtec engine had lost power...it clearly has. you avoid my question of what is tyour job, because ive got a feeling you are just a keyboard warrior who has had vtecs and maybe has some experience but then feel you have seen it all. if u want to have a slag war, pm me like i pm'd you.

my heart stopped then, that vsm looks so much like mine when i went, just missing the fogs!
 
lol, some dynos increase a cars power!!

when i was at TDI-PLC they had a rx7 with 600hp on there dyno, next week it was in a magazine with 800hp:lol:
 
it dont really mater if you loose or not 1hp or ps or whatever all its important its the your cars look very sick i love it

Some cool pictures there mate .. damm wazers car is cool. i like it looks very close to OEM but has some hidden treasures...far too many car's about rocking the all show no go theme.. Can't beleive its on EK9 cam's, as dan22h says above "Get smoe cam's !" lol Imagine what it'll make with some nice cam's and valve train to suit.. OOOOOOOOOSH. Awesome...

Bikes look like fun also, get some videos of that :D

@ Topher/Mr Dan; I'm not after much more power, well any at all lol, will be focusing more on brakes and some proper proper track suspension - then cams I think. :secret:

It was a great day minus the crazy now! Glad everyone came along who did, will have to do some more - weather permitting. :)
 
Well all in all i thought it was a great day, shame about the weather on the way home ruining my 5 hours of cleaning from the day before though!

Got to say, wazers 9 stole the show, very impressive on the dyno!

I was very happy with my Vsm 4 making 169.9 bhp with just an AEM V2 and a new paint job! Haha

Was a really good day out! Think we need to get another day sorted in a few month after a few more mods!!
