Selling the ITR, need to save up for the new ride man

I need to attend one of these! any idea where i can find more info on novice day track days??

nice photos, thanks for sharing :D

Does Combe have novice days? Living in the arse end of nowhere I don't really have many track choices, been woosing out of tracking my '9 for too long....

Most trackday organisers have novice days. Get yourself over to HOT, some of the best events you will have on track, lots of time & space with good ettiquette, novice friendly, good prices too.

Whats next Bon?

Just signed up. Haitch, do they allow competition only tyres to be used on Combe? I want to try to play it safe on my first trackday, seen too many youtube videos of people ploughing into the armco.

Road or semi slick is fine. You will need a roll cage for full slicks I believe. The majority of HOT outings are sessioned (8x20mins), doesnt sound like much to most but it really is very good.

hi bon. thanks for coming down and taking some pictures. had a really good day, apart from being told off for driving to fast....odd. thanks for the comments on the dark hatch, that would be mine. first time she's had a proper airing since i finished building her, so these are the first pics on here. will share some close up pictures with you all so and spec. :nice::nice:

Good to see you again bon. You got some nice snaps there, and got them up before we've put ours up.

It was a bit unsuitable signing up for a novice day really, I think we all knew we were compitent drivers... the poor guy who had the arial atom will probably want to sign up for a few more tho...after he's replaced the one he stuffed in the armco on the second lap!

by the way bon, keep your teg! it looked so good when you drove off.

If you are a confident driver, novice days can be a waste of time, although an MSV open pit lane for example can be pretty full on for a first time and not recomended, a sessioned day is better for a first time - 20 mins in the hour, not so much chance to get carried away, and time to chat, ask the regulars questions, check the car and cool off :nice:

Yeah good too meet you Bon. Like the others said, you've beat us too the pics!
I've gotta few so will get them added when i get a proper chance.
Was a really good day, had fun wacking them around the track!!

its not actually that tight. its surprising when your out there the space you have. as for the novice days, as has been said most people do them. when i spoke to msv they recommended the novice day for our cars on snetterton, thet said a open pit will have really powerful cars and 'could' be out of our dept.... but then it works both ways as we found out. Bedford next. thats a great track. plenty of twisties.:):)

looks like you had gd time shame i couldent of popped along.
great pics bon and cars are looking gd on track. i want do another trackday at snetty cant beat leaving coram at 90mph :)
