nice project Mate. I like the new dashboard :)

It's not a Mugen wing mate, it was an Evo 8 FQ wing. Sold now though. New one is a cusco.

slightly off topic, but how did you get the roll cage inside the car?

It's 2 piece mate lol, so through the door. Took the seats and dash out.

Forgot to update here haha, yeah it's come on a bit!

I stuck a sticker on

Also bought an engine :) Copied the post from the DC2 forum;

Bout damn time this got updated :p

Car got picked up yesterday morning and moved to Tegiwa where it will stay for a bit until it's pretty much finished.

Went from there to fetch an engine, won't be a great surprise to anyone that knows me but it's a K20 :)

I've been collecting parts to do the conversion for a while, still short though. This morning I ground off the driver's side B series mount, no going back now!

Marked the chassis, drilled it and fitted the new conversion mount.

Then had a play with the engine, took the box off and fitted an F1 racing flywheel and F1 racing stage 2 clutch, then fitted the box I'd bought off R-Motion a while ago :p

Wasn't really much else to do at that point other than put it in :p

It's literally just in on its mounts at the moment and there's an awful lot to do (and an awful lot to buy :( ) before it runs, let alone drives. Good progres though.

Cheers to R-Motion for parts and the odd bit of advice :p

Big thanks to Tegiwa for use of the ramp and constant support, and talking me into it in the first place haha.

Also thanks to Freakyparts as I now have a whacking big set of stoppers under the wheels :D

On thursday/friday I got an hour or so to spend on it in between jobs at Tegiwa so I started fitting the RBC intake manifold. No pics yet.

I've also bought a k swap wiring harness from Sparkks on k20a.org and also an R-Crew k swap exhaust manifold. Also picked up another set of Team Dynamics pro race 1s from a nice guy on the crx forum :) And as well I have a Hondata K100 and got a clutch line sorted.

So really it's just the driveshafts and fuelling to sort out now.

What tyres did your old slipstreams have on them mate?
