I'm looking for a b18 type r engine , just wondering who you guys recommend , I have seen the various breaking threads and have noticed few vendors seem to be selling them .
What's the typical price for a b18 type r engine ?
May even go for a b16 type r ?
 
As above, they'l be fitting a B18C for me in the next few months
 
Jap performance and your looking at 2,300-2500 for a 96 and 98 spec 2,800 to 3,000 that's what I was told when I got my b18c-r

do they have proof of mileage and what sort of warranty is on their engine/work?
 
Have a word with strictlyboost, nice genuine guy, will even fit it for you if you drive the car there.
 
My friend is selling his b18c that I built for him last year, it has Wiseco 11.8:1 CR 81.5mm pistons. Very fresh engine, no more than 10,000 miles on it. PM if you want more info on it.

Agreed, your also swapping an engine with one of the best Rod/Stroke ratios with one of the worst.

For the price and increase in performance it seems so pointless. Yet il maybe change my mind hwne i drive one :)

hond-r quoted me £1300 for a full swap including px of my b16b
 
Funny how a K20 on their site is £1100 for Engine only..

Yet the B16B is £1500.

Says alot about the 16B :woot:
