Reputable place to buy a b18 engine from...


ray (strictlyboost) is a top guy fitted my b18c + s80 within a day picked me up and is just a sound bloke! rmotion are great bought a few parts from them and have only heard good things from them!
 
Cheers guys good debate going on here , I have b20 at the moment running sweet and I no the saying if it ain't broke why fix it , but Im looking at alternative setups , just wondering what a b16 would be like with all bolt ons and a set of cams would be like ? R motion have a b16 in stock at the moment

they did an amazing job there were some parts delays from America that could not be helped but the quality of work is 2nd to none.

Am I missing something here lol. Your debating getting a B18 fitted when your running a B20 already?

cookooo!!!

B16 with bolt-ons will be probably disappointing to even a basic b20 setup. No torque and will require high revs to get it going. (I run a b16a2 with bolt-ons and itr cams)

Also may I add, Considered doing work yourself?

I recently rebuilt an engine (got the machine shop to do the crucial bits) and just basically assembled most of it myself following books and guides. and borrowed and crane and put it in myself. Im far from a experience mechanic but as long as you approach it with a sensible head and have done your research, you can save yourself an awful lot of labour/costs!!! not to mention I now have the knowledge and confidence to it again! It wasn't even that complex, just break it down into smaller jobs.

I now have a b16a2 with itr cams, with 0 miles on it for about 1.1k including buying the block.
