Refurbed my wheels


stock wheels that mint do look gorgous!

cheers guys 2 more now ready So only 1 more to go & I will do that tonight on my night shift So basically Im getting paid to refurb my wheel:win:

My top tip though & typical ive only just relised now im on last wheel is that when masking wheel stick index cards around rim edge to mask tyre works much better than masking tape. As you can see on my last 2 wheels I got over spray on tyre Not that it matters as will be gtting some RS2s soon:nice:

No probs man! I have DC2 alloys and I'm going to get them powdercoated black. Think it will go good with my carbon goodies!:nice: I dont have the balls to do it myself or the skills for that matter!:((

I will be getting my meguirs/golds stuff end of the month so I will show you the results, thanks again for the advice!:nice:

How come you never did in the back of the wheels though? ALSO aftermarket wheel nuts on oem wheels is dangerous, get the stock ones back on :)

I didnt do the backs of the wheels as wanted to do as cheap as possible & would have meant buying more paint & you cant see it anyway when on car & gets dirty very fast. The nuts will be changed but are very close to OEM they are nothing like the rays/buddyclub nuts etc they have been on the car for a long time in japan as i have recipt for them. But like I say will change to OEM very soon as I dont like the colour & like you say better safe than sorry:nice:

ive heard not to use laquer out of spray cans, as it lacks the hardner, hence why i had my wheels sprayed with 2k laquer!

Are MC Gard lug nuts usable with oem wheels?
i have a set of this: Chrome - SplineDrive (Cone Seat)
