Things to do

Change timing belt + tensioner
Water Pump
All gaskets
Thermostat
weld fittings to rocker cover for breather setup and oil sump for turbo oil drain
Paint engine and gearbox
Fit clutch and flywheel
fit intake manifold
Tuck engine loom
Drop the engine back in
Install turbo kit
remap

I just hope it's going to be as easy as it sounds!

Very nice, let me know when you come to installing the kit and I'll talk you through it via this thread. The most important thing is that you get the oil feed and return right or you'll wreck the turbo.

Thanks Rich hence why I asked you to fit it for me :p

The turbo is oil and water cooled I believe, I kinda understand plumbing the oil feed via the adapter that feeds in where the oil pressure switch goes (correct me if i'm wrong) but where would I get the water supply from? or is this even necessary?

You'll need a oil restrictor as well for that turbo. I think the size is .035" . As for your coolant lines - if Greg never supplied you with necessary stuff, then you'll need to purchase them. This is the kit I'd recommend... GT Turbo Coolant Kit It is VERY important that the turbo is water cooled as well as you'll damage it in no time (if anyone else tells you different their talking out of their ass). The coolant pulls heat away from the center cartridge when the car has been shut down preventing internal damage.

cheers mate, i think i have those fittings... ill post a pic of all the fittings i have

@ Rich whats your view on thermal gaskets? are they worth the investment or should i stick with oem?

Get one mate. They help prevent the manifold from becoming heat soaked. That's about it really.. I have one so they must be worth getting lol.
