Project milano red dc2


Head's off so I can replace the valve stem seals, I got the valve guides inspected and they are fine :) will be replacing the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, all the relevant gaskets... what else can I do while the heads apart?

I was thinking about port and polishing but i've read mixed reveiws so not going to bother to be on the safe side.

I'm thinking ek9 pistons, what sort of difference will i notice I know they will increase the compression but is it really as simple as it sounds?

Where do I start....
I decided to take the teg off the road for the winter months the plan was to rebuild the bottom end and rebush the whole car and a few other bits and bobs. However I decided to sell the b18c just need to decide what to replace it with now!
Nothing has been set in stone yet; I’ll let the pics do the talking

I must admit I do feel upset getting rid of the b18c such an amazing engine; I just hope I don’t regret it! :(

What next.......?

Need to decide what engine to put in hmmmm k20? Boost?
Strip all suspension arms, brakes and hubs etc
Full re-bush (hardrace)
Full geometry set-up
Re-underseal
Still need a spoon front lip in my life!
I think it's time to change the wheels too this is the least of my worries

Got back with the missus mate.

She woulnt let me sell it all, so I bough an Ibiza for daily.

Rebuilding on a new shell the gold one was too rusted :(
