there's probly a few things ive missed..
Dyno results show 243 Bhp + 222 Ft lb Torque at just under 7 PSI (0.5 Bar)

Now for the Project side of things.

My Aim? 2011 i want it to keep it as a Show Car, for 2012 im unsure. might go the Track Car route.
so for my target for 2011 ill be spending most of the cash on cosmetics, and minmium on performance, it is in dire need of an ECU so that probably will get done after the cosmetics.

Everything will be done if it goes to plan... by April/may

Cosmetics -

Whole car, sprayed Black (BMW Sapphire black) not Matt black.
Alloys sprayed black
Headlights blacked out (can only see through the black tint very slightly)
Rear lights completely blacked out
front windows tinted at about 70% (till i get told to change em)
rear windows at 100%
2 Front Arch Fenders
front headlights - Angel eyes now glow Red instead of HID Blue

Performance - ECU Upgrade and Remap have been told by mechanics and tuning specialists just with this upgrade (and increasing boost pressure) will see over 350bhp.
Also Adding in a Screamer Pipe, to subtly pop out just infront of the passenger side front wheel under or through the bumper if possible.
a New HKS Exhaust, (big jap cannon ;) )
oh and 750 CC injectors

so thats for this year year.

The ITR inlet manifold from the spec sheet isnt present on the engine, wonder what else youve been told it has is missing lol.
 
I'm not one for shooting people down but they are the two ugliest cars i've ever seen! hope you can do something with that coupe, would be kinda wary of the spec's you were told too because its rocking a vti inlet manifold...

Im usually one to not pay attention to peoples comments,but i have been in this car and can tell you its fast,even on its stock ECU,lets be serious nae cunto likes the look of this car....even he doesnt,thats why its going for the respray in black which i think will make it that bit more subtle.

If it was me personally id return the car back to stock,or just dump the engine in a hatch!


The fact is he's putting the effort in...dont want to sound like a whiney wee bitch but i just dont like seeing people being shot down on one of their first posts!
 
Sorry bud not a fan of the car but am running a similar set up.

You might want to get the car checked out as said there a few things on your spec sheet seem a bit iffy.
And get a proper map !! (I am one to talk :lol: )

But best of luck with it dude ;)
 
No one is 'shooting him down' people are just querying his spec sheet and voiceing there opinions!
 
and yes, it will feel fast because

1) your used to an EJ9
2) it will be making all kinds of noises unusual to you
3) it will be running dangerously lean
 
I say loose the body kit the front + rear lights put it back to standard. As for running a turbo engine on a standard ecu seems strange looks like a few quids been spent and they just missed the main bit out. Have you got any paperwork of the work done to the engine or the garage that did it? Might be worth a look into.
 
if it was my car ill take off the body kit in a heart beat. also change the red interior peaces and the steering wheel. also the back seats and open the engine myself (or take it to someone else if you dont know how to work on cars) but thats just me gl m8
 
Personaly im more into the OEM look but each to there own and good luck for changing the look to how YOU want it. At the end of the day if we were all the same it would be boring :)

nasty looking cars imho but each to their own, some of my mates have munter girlfriends.
 
Cant run a standard ECU as the standard ECU fuel cuts at around 3psi....

Must be running BRE / Crome etc etc...
 
I thought it was Standard, whatever a KROME ECU is... or something like that its what its got atm, with a standard map as the map was made to get it run in, as the rebuild was 4,000 miles ago.
Cheers for the concerns and feedback. This went on a dyno Run 2 months ago at Dastek (now performance tech) Fuel is running bang on the money, no where near lean, steady boost so Map is fine.

as for the manifold, its the first ive heard of it being stock. the Guy that built this civic is the same guy that built my EP, hes got all the info it is possible i might have wrote a thing or 2 down incorrectly... but nothing major as spec sheet has been looked at by other people that know the build properly.

I do agree the color is gash. The Bodykit however i think complements its shape. Coupes are not small cars and suit agressive styling. So im changing it to enhance this further the respray will make it more subtle and not show off the bodykit as much as the pearlescent is doing just now. So i think its going to be one very aggressive looking car with performance to match.
