Car goes back off the road tomorrow to get finished for a few weeks. Also
Ordered alot of engine bay bling.

Red Samco Hose Kit
Powder coating red & black various bits in the engine bay.

week 1-2: Still to be done: Window Tints, Front lights, another coat of paint on the intercooler.

week 3: New ECU injectors etc. and mapped.

lol he is giving advice ,think before u speak and u might see the reasoning behind it.

as for the build in general as a few of the boys have sayd dude u might want to get a little more info on what u r doin before u throw money at the first person that will do it ,performance tek knows what he is talking about take all comments on the chin and on board ,take it easy..
 
well everyone makes mistakes, and i thought i knew what someone was doing. Guess not but ive changed mechanics who has a good reputation and is alot more proffesional (Henry Roy) so im eager to see the car properly mapped.
Henry has had a look over the spec and said if the car has been sleeved (which i wont find out till tomorrow) then 400hp wont be a problem. However chances are it hasnt been sleeved (if i dont manage to find out im not going to risk it anyway) then 350hp will be safe enough. Anything over that then... looking at a blown engine.
350 hp tho... to the front wheels, is more than enough.

If i do want more power, have to get a b18 block etc. Which i probably wont do.

nice to see henry will be doing ur work mate :) a lot better now still not keen on the bodykit but everyone to there own and as long as u like it thats all that matters :D

When i was at Edinburgh meet 2 nights ago did have alot of people saying it looks different in the pictures than it does in person, it looks alot better in person supposedly. even got asked at one point if the paint was chrome lol.
 
Dyno printout ? Not doubting the figures just would rather see what the torque curve looks like
 
Your weekly list put ghey battery tie down straps, and password jdm strut braces ABOVE getting an ecu and injectors!!!!!???? Some peoples thought patterns amaze me!!!!!!
 
JDP, your a bit clueless if thats what you think. There is such a thing as a mechanic being booked up. Henry Roy was one of them. Was booked in, so until that date i got some engine bay bling, that such a problem?

thanks Jimbo, dhdave dyno sheets are in the glovebox and ill take a pic of em tomorrow, if you add me on facebook you'll see a pic of a bit of the dyno sheet lol (shows power and torque).
 
video is very cool, sounds wicked.

but needing sleeves for 400bhp seems like mega overkill to me. If your block is built, i cant see why it wouldnt take 400.

Talking serious power for a sleeved block

once you get in to 3rd gear it sounds amazing once it starts poutting the power down...

bloody hell 2nd gear is killer quick...
love the turbo sounds :run:
