Please be careful when getting out of my car recaro bolseter asre so fragile!

i always lift my leg over the bolster and push off the seat where your back would be when sitting down to get out..i glad to see i am not the only one who worries about the bolsters this much ha ;)obsession to the max:dance:

A good firm left foot for support and the swing off the A pillar and ease myself down hahah

I hate it when i spend ages restoring Recaro's in my sales cars only to have someone buy the car thats lets say, does not have a "Recaro ass" :nerv:. I thought i was just being **** when i sell all my cars giving lesions on how to get in and out of a Recaro :blinx:.

I sit my bum in at 90 deg to the seat so the bolster goes between my legs then lift my right leg over. Getting out i put my right hand on the sill, lean onto it lifting my bum up then swivel out missing the bolster completely.

At least the bolsters are easy to replace, well i think so but i have done about 80 of them.

haha ha ha top thread, you wont believe the mount of times i have told my gf how to get out of the car lol,and every time she says it only a seat :nono::shocked: and i wont let friend in if they are dirty :lol:.
 
The other one is the floor mat's. I hate people getting in with dirty feet, i usually turn the mats upside down to save them.
Especially now a set of mats is worth more than a new carpet!

Not a bad idea though about turning the mats update down though. Don't think my gf would be too pleased though lol.

do you really care that much about a bolster?
 
Sure do man. Especially when I see how immaculate other peoples recaros are. I just hate the look of a sagged/worn out bolster really
 
yes a sagged bolster is a depressing sight especially as it cost a bomb to replace

ahhh now i know how ye feel i feel the same , after i get the booster replaced ill have to teach evryone how to get in and out of my car

Then came to the 3rd day but to my relief he phoned up early and said for now on someone else is taking me to work. I never felt so at ease whilest felling like a total A-hole at the same time, but at least my seats get to see anotherday =] :dance::dance::dance:

i just had my bolster replaced. but only on my side. passenger. blaa. will get wrecked anyway :(
 
This made me laugh. Only glad that my 9 is gonna take a while to finish giving me a whole lot of time to loose some pounds - dont want to wreck my bolsters
