Painted my rocker cover

Hey all, i was bored at work so i decised to strip and paint an old rocker cover i had lying around,

Results arnt going to be to everyones taste but i didnt want to do a boring 'rising sun' that most others seem to do...

Anyway heres the pics :)

If this is the kind of stuff you can do, I think you should start doing people's covers. They can do a design with you and then they can send you the cover and get you to spray it. You could do them at a decent price, but cheap enough that people will take you up on the offer and everyones a winner!
 
thats cool man..you can start a business with that kind of talent...
 
i agree u can earn urself a nice bit of cash on the side as am sure loads of us would be intrested realy good mate a+ lol
 
WOW!! That looks amazing I love custom cam covers and would like to do one myself though it won't be a patch on that. Great work :clap: :nice:

thats sweet. good job. would have been really good if you had took pics of all the diferent stages you went through ie all the prep work the blending of different colours. well done
 
really good job there, should get yourself a stock of cam covers and start making some cash out of your talent

as i was doing i t i thought i should have taken some pics :( but i only had my 50d on me and had painty thinners manky hands and didnt want to dirty my camera lol. if any one wants one doing and has aspare cover im happy to do one for them... i didnt airbrush it i just used a normal paint gun i use to respray cars just turned the pressure right down :)

Il deffo take pics of the next one.
 
Hey man I am interested how much would you charge to do one? I have a couple spare dohc valve covers and a sohc valve cover.

it really depends on what you want doing tbh mate, the cheapest id do one for is probably £50 this one cost me like £20 in materials to do but it took quite a long time to do i got a good idea for the next one i want to do but i dont have any more spare covers, i only got my mint red ek9 one and im not gonna paint that.
