Other Civic forums


I'm banned from civiclife.
The moderators are mainly idiots, most members have zero knowledge of cars.
It's just generally a horrible chavvy forum

Nah seriously though, all forums have rules what you are suppose to read and bear in mind before posting. It's a bit like going to a foreign country and expecting to have the same rights you have in the UK. Obviously every country has their own rules/laws what need to be followed.

I understand your frustration Escy. I got parts sitting collecting Dust with no real outlet to sell them. Recently I tried selling my car on eBay at a low price and in the listing I put no offers. Everyday I received very low offers. I think that if I was able to list it on an enthusiast forum it would have sold without the headache.

Needless to say I understand why its called fleabay now. Just keep working your post count and looking for interesting threads to throw down your 2 cents. 250 goes fast for some and slow for others.
 
On the civic type r forum you can sell things with a very low post count and I've had problems buying things twice. I had to you paypal to get my money back because 'the exhaust got wrecked in the post and sent back to me' or 'I've sent your money it should be in by now'.

Does anyone know of any other honda/civic based forums where I won't need to jump through too many hoops in order to sell. I'm happy to pay a membership fee.

As for slating forums because you don't agree with their for sale rules is a bit pointless.
yes the mods on civiclife will ban you if they suspect you of trying to get your post count up to sell things. that's one of the best things about civiclife, I've never been scammed as scammers can't be bothered making 250 posts and waiting 30 days.
Same as on here, i've never been scammed once. As for hondacivicforum I've been scammed on there as it's easy to get around their rules.

If you are desperate for parts for your ek9 keep an eye out for the breakers on here.
