I have encountered a small problem with my previous build, where my Golden Eagle sleeves started to chip/corrode at the top due to coolant/water mixtures over a period of time. Now, my philosophy is when you go down you come up bigger! This prompted me to sell most of the parts within that build like the 89mm LS crank, the Eagle forged rods, the Skunk2 Pro series intake maifold, an a few more things.
I did this because I initially wanted to go K24 and have that sucker so sideways down the 1/4 mile:shocked:. BUT, upon further research, I found that the ground clearance of the K24 oilpan was just unacceptable:angry:. At this time i already sold most of my stuff, so I had to get replacements to go back b-series again. This is when i got in touch with Larry of Endyne. We talked and came to the conclusion that the 92mm strokerkit fron Crower, was the answer for me. I then began to pull the pieces together. I purchased the kit which includes a set of his Rollerwave Wiseco pistons with relocated wristpins, some Crower ultra lightweight I-bean "long rods" ($755 usd:secret:), and a Crower balanced 92mm crank. I also purchased a fully ported RLZ Race GSR head with 85mm combustion chambers. Skunk2 stage3 cams have also been bought along with new Supertech std valves. The block will be sent next week back to Golden Eagle to resleeve with their newer 85mm sleeves capable of handling 70+ lbs of boost (although this setup is All Motor). A VictorX intake manifold with a 72mm throtthle body will be purchase shortly and shall be portmatched to the head.
This new setup is expected to pull around 250+ whp and 175+ wtq and net atleast 12.0 all motor:bow:.

**** man that sucks, Who's fault was it that the sleeves got damaged?

well as I said, the type of water mixed with coolant probable helped speed up the process.

wow, thats a serious list of parts:bow::bow:

Hey TD, nice setup. Sorry to hear about your old setup. JUST put Honda coolant in it ONLY now... and you wont get that corrosion, its a common mistake. The water and the aluminium make electricity that excellerates the oxidisation!

As for the cranks, they make real good power but watch your reliability with your redline! The 92mm setups are well known for their lifespan. What have your been advised on for redline?

I want to see you bust low 12 seconds or high 11 quarter miles!... all the best with your new setup and looking forward to reading your track times!

I expect 11.8-12.1 in the 1/4 mile NA.

Amazing time and amazing setup!

Thats my dream setup for a B-Series, but hmmm I'm thinking seriously in moving to the K series :nerv:

I don't plan on passing 8600 rpms, but Larry at Endyn says he spins his 92mm crank to 9800 frequently:shocked:. I also am an amateur at tuning my Hondata, but I see you are a professional. Any pointers you can give me, especially with ignition tuning would be appreciated.
