Just thought I would share some pics of my latest purchase with you guys as I know some of you are into your bikes!

Been riding bikes non stop since I was 16 and picked up the bug pretty early. Had a fair few road bikes now and done the isle of mann TT several times and started getting into my track days more and more.

My dad used to race bikes years ago and this is something I have always wanted to do we so both decided to sell our much loved GSXR’s and pick up a couple of race bikes to have some proper fun with. We are going to enter the HOTTRAX endurance racing as a team next year! I know quite a few guys who have raced in this and it seems like a really good series.
Here are some pics. Enjoy!

GSXR’s – Now sold

Thanks for the comment mate!

To be fair there is nothing between the GSXR, R6, CBR600RR and ZX6R. All very quick bikes. I used to have a ZX6-R 636 B1H which I thought was a great bike.

You should definately get your on track at some point! :)

stunning looking bikes i would love a bike but i would be in a box 6 feet under by the end of the month

Serious bikes man :nice: my bro has a k1 gsxr 1000 at the moment, and a 929 fireblade :D

If you decide to go to the TT again and have a spair space let me know and I will def 100% take it.
OMG loving the new bikes.

I know exactly what you mean mate and this is one of the main reasons I gave up road riding!

No doubt I will make it back over at some point Dunx. Just more likely to be on 4 wheels this time. I will let you know before booking anything up though for sure.

Thanks for the comment mate!

Thanks! Yeh I will try and get some videos up. To be fair I have just fitted a nice MJS 4 Branch header, Decat and power commander with custom MAP so she breathes fire now ! :)

Stay safe mate!

That 125 looks awesome mate! Bet your made up with that!

Looks very similar to the R6. Great starting bike, you are doing it right by working your way up thats exactly what I done!

Appreciate the comment. Ride carefull

Bikes look mint mate! Whats the spec on thoose r6's? Can you modify them much for the racing you will be doing?

Thanks Martin, hope you are well! There are basically no limitations on what can be done to the bikes apart from money of course and you can't do daft things like turbo them etc.

Both the bikes are following spec;

- GB moto adjustable rearset's
- All lights etc removed and loom modified to reflect
- Keyless start
- Race filler cap
- Full slicks + spare wheels with wets
- Fibreglass fairings
- MJS race headers with DECAT
- MTC exhaust can
- Power commander with custom MAP
- 520 chain conversion
- Fully lockwired
- BMC air filter

Probably missed a few things out but they are just a really basic track set up. At the end of the day they are good enough to be competative in the series we are entering so will will jus modify them further as we go along (suspension etc).

Wow Lovely bikes serious piece of kit, Im hoping to start riding soon when funds allow, I must say that R-125 looks lovely. Its always good if you have a family member equally hooked :p

I am good mate! Saving hard for a track car.

Thats some spec. Power to weight ratio myst be impressive. They must be about 115bhp at the wheel and weigh what 160-170kg? They must go like stink. Bet they corner well too!

Bets of luck with the racing mate. Let me know dates etc and i will come and watch!

Wicked bikes mate love them.
Had a cbr600rr 2007 and a R6 2007 both in white :p sold them needed to free up some money but def going back for a R1 OR CBR1000 now.
I always felt the R6 a much harder (heavier bike) to ride.
Here's some pics-

x2. Always wanted a bike but know too many people that have either been killed or injured on them:(.
Did you have a near miss Jase, which persuaded you to sell your road bike and get a track bike instead?..or did you just fancy a change?

Seriously cool machines by the way:nice:

I want a track bike! Have to be a thou though could never go back to 600 power now!

Sad fact of it is a modern 600 would be more than a match for a 7+ year old thou on track. Some of them have 120bhp at the wheel. Thats not far off early r1 power. Imo on track you would have more fun on a 600 as you would get the power down easier out of tighter corners. Saying that though if i ever go back to a sportsbike it would be a thou!! On the road i find them much more fun. For track however, from experience they are a bit intimidating. Had more fun on track on my drz400sm than i ever did on my r1.
