My K20 supercharged EK9 *update p.26

Awrite guys

Well, txt Andrew @ automek today....

All wiring is pretty much done, just the s2ooo clocks to fit! Car got full underseal the other day and all the suspension parts are fitted.
Brakes are on. Got to do A bit of cutting as the charger is touching the bonnet. Lol. Should have some update pics shortly.

Couple of wee problems, wheels are still not here.... And after seeing Stevie9er having problems with his tegiwa shafts, I got Andrew to check mine. And yes, also too short so
I will need to Sort that out on Monday. :(

Cheers. Andy :nice:

:)

sucks about the shafts :((

get andrew to make you some shafts, ep3 shafts with the inner cv's swapped and use b series outer cv's - simple!

i went for DSS stage 0 and they fit perfect! will see how they last as the spoon diff is pretty aggro

I've got s2000 clocks to did you buy something to connect it all? Like a harness or something?

Cheers man, al have a word with Andrew tomorrow after i speak with tegiwa.

I got an ep3 conversion harness with the clocks, but i think there is a bit more to it than that. Something to do with the fuel tank level sensor and temp sensor. Al find out once its done and let you know

:nice:

Where both your k swap shafts too short or just one side? Did the pop out of the box?

didn't pop off the half shaft, possibly would have with prolonged use, but just stretched the inner CV too much for it to engage correctly

measuring against the DSS drivers side shafts, DSS on the left and tegiwa's yonaka on the right, can see how it is a good bit too short

Is that the rh side/ driver side shaft. And EP3 shaft is also to short as i found out, you need a DC5 rh shaft as its slighty longer

yeah that's the drivers side shaft, DSS is perfect length when fitted

when i spoke to R-motion on the phone they said they use DC5 shafts, gerry says he uses ep3 (shorter), guess it depends on the car tbh!

Sick build mate, when do you think you'll have this on the road? We need some DECENT videos of it :D

Thanks. Should be on the road in a couple of weeks. I have a track day at the start of August so I will hopefully have some videos from that. :)

I touched this.... Lol, can i get a Passenger ride on track day?
