Was the swap hard? Because i am doing a b18c engine swap in the near future so i would like to know! How many hours did you spend?

as you can see im not finished yet, but no its not hard just make sure you have everything you need before you start makes it a lot easier, im sure people will say it can be done in a few hours but if its your first swap just take your time! I spent about 6 hours over the weekend, mayb a little more and then spent a few more hours going to get parts i was missing etc, i have everything now so should only take me a few hours to get the engine in and running next weekend :)

picked up a password jdm tow hook and a new valve cover, let me know what you think... havnt got round to fitting the front tow hook

also came up with a cool idea for the plug cover but dont know if it can be done in an anodised colour or anythin similar just thought would look class...

picked up a rear tow hook aswel

itted the tow hook this morning, also gave the car a clean for tonight!

got a HKS Silent Hi-power over the weekend two of the bends are flattend but got that sorted today and fitted the exhaust im very happy with it, noticable difference and looks sweet ill get pics up tomorrow :)

thats all for now have plenty more plans so keep an eye out for more updates

i'm planning to do the same conversion on my 4dr ek3,
does the engine harness fits with no mods?
 
fitted the hks silent hi-power exhaust, also got a rear disc conversion and grooved discs, not much more done heres how shes standing at the moment

right so finally got crackin on the brakes today :)

I cleaned up the trailing arms and brakes and gave them a lick of paint

and as usual wasnt as straight forward as it should have been... the bolt on the lca was rusted to the bushung and snapped so this is how I left the car tonight

Still have to go at the front ones and have to fit the ITR master cylinder. Hopefully have it all done this weekend anyway
 
Crackin build mate, nice job... Good to see a nice example rolling around Dublin :)
 
mate that's a some amount of work you've put into this civic! keep it up man!
 
EK4 front and rear brakes fitted now with HEL braided lines, new Ferodo pads and grooved discs in the rear, just have to bleed the brakes and fit the master cylinder tomorro. also gave the control arms a lick of paint before they went back on so they'll do for now. few more pics
