Ive done a few wee bits and pieces recently to the car so may aswell update this... sadly the heart transplant isnt one of them :(
Ive fitted the OEM wind deflectors i got off Mertin. Got my rear disc conversion on with a 1" ITR master cylinder + servo and a set of Goodridge braided hoses. And fitted an ASR subframe brace that i got for my birthday too

Also got it machine polished by Graeme(astraman) for JAE, improved the paintwork a fair bit! Been a bit OCD with polishing since JAE too so decided to take some pics on Saturday since the sun was out and i was happy with how the car was looking

This is what i got

That is loud:shocked: Sounds good:D How do you find the brakes since converting to the itr master cylinder+servo car looks well by the way:nice:

Yeah it is very loud!
I had fitted the rear discs a wee while before i fitted the m/c + servo and once i had fitted the m/c i noticed the pedal feel was a huge amount better.. brakes felt a lot sharper
Id say its definatly a worthwhile mod if you do a rear disc conversion:nice:

Ya its very nice sounding! A very entertaining project so far! I really like the volks so much better than the rota's! That front disc conversion, what breaking system is that? Off what car! Keep us up to date on this project because i love it so far

Cheers guys. im not sure what the front calipers are off... they were on a DA that my mate had for spares. Think they might be ITR calipers, theyre single pot anyway

The lip is an SiR lip, bought from a guy called Sim Auto

Hello there Steve M, that car is very nice! Is the insurance expensive for you to insure that car?

Hello, thanks for the info. I am 15 this year but i want an EK as my first car but i dont't know how the insurance will be. Is it possible to drive an EK4 when im 17? Or is EJ9 a better choice? Thanks.

which engine are you looking to install?

Are you asking me? If yes, then:

if the insurance for the ek4 is not expensive, it will just be a stock b16a2.

If the insurance is expensive, i will get te 1.4 ej9 and just wait until like im 20-23 then ill do an engine swap to a b16a2
