My Dyno Results...

Nice one mate, you must be over the moon!:) how come you didnt know about it when you bought the car then, wasnt it advertised or anything when it was imported?

In this case it was a good thing they did not advertise it.
Maybe the price would not have been the same.
Maybe the seller thought that if its not stock it will sell for less?

I don't know, but its in appreciating hands now right Dunsy! Lucky bastard!
Go out and buy a lottery ticket everyday for the next 18 months!

I know for a fact the price would have been alot higher if the importer had known about this engine, because he told me! haha

It might not necessarily put the value of my car up much but it certainly increases desirability i would say.

You would need a crowbar and about 9 Grand to pry this out my hands now Hhahaha

i dont think it is stroked

i just think its a strong B16b
I have a very strong B16B as well. I've smoked an S2K and Integra Type R (USDM) in a 1/4 mile race. I have yet to find out whether it's been stroked or not.

B18 Stroke Length - 87.2mm
B16b Stroke Length - 77.4mm

Mine = 8.9mm

:nerv:

Looks very much like i have a Spoon Stroker kit :nice: Management Next.

Got The Graphs scanned in to post up ith it running on the B16b Spoon ECU but there isnt much point now

Hardto see i know :(

I have just read through this now!

Now i Know why you cant wait to get it mapped!:D

Lucky GIT:p

Yeah mate :D

If its making 195bhp on a b16 ECU i cant wait to see what it will do with proper management :)

I Knew it was a B18 with them results.

B16B do not produce them figures unless modified quite extensively.

times were you running at the 1/4 mile dude ??

Nothing special man, 15.3, had pure shan tyres on and it was that day with the hella crosswind.

1/4 mile should be left to the americans though. Knockhill is whurr it at :nice:

Checking the stroke length worked out alright for you Ross? Defiantly b18 with those figures. And from looking at your AFR there is room to pull some more power out of it from a custom tune for sure:nice:

Yeah mate, your instructions were Perfect :D thanks again mate.

yeah im hoping so man, try to pull max potential from this engine :)

Cheers man, yeah it should be cool.

Sam at SpoonSportsEurope has been helping me with contacting Spoon and has dug up this info. He has been really helpful and would recommend using him for Info/parts anytime

Spoon Stroker Kit uses a LS crankshaft??? Why a 89mm stroke? I thought Spoon Stroker kit was based on a dc2 crankshaft (87,20mm)
