My B20 getting mapped

Well went and got my 9 mapped today, was surprised to see it only made 173bhp and 140lb/ft before it got mapped but after hours of mapping and abuse lol she made 200bhp and 155lb/ft.

A gain of 27 hp and 15lb/ft torque. Reckon the dyno reading a bit low, but the main thing is that it is running spot on now, chuffed with the results and drives a lot better

yea you went on the heart breaker dyno lol

you must of seen our del sol when you were in. daves really good use him on all our cars
 
a lot of dynos vary, i wouldnt mind the figures too much, its how well it goes is what matters :)
 
Weird, although peak figs mean nowt its where they are present that count

Mine made 230bhp on the same DD dyno, whats the spec matey?

Yup sure did, was a bit nervous to begin with, but it held up lol. Yeah Dave is good, happy with what he done.

it does go well, so that's what counts. Feels quicker than jus 200hp tho, a lot quicker than than B16

B20b3 bottom end, B16b head, top fuel induction, 4-1 header, de-cat, Skunk 2 70mm cat back and Hondata S300

Think am goin for ITBs, bigger injectors and possibly bigger cams near end of summer hopefully

Sounds about right, mapped a similar spec which made 207bhp on same make dyno. Get some higher CR pistons in there and you'll see a nice increase in power even with using type r cams:nice:
 
Almost the same as mine but with toda pistons and b18 rods. Mines actually a 1.9
 
my old b20 made 196 with a crappy 4-2-1 and exhaust 2.25

Good power dude, these feel alot quicker lower down than b16
 
The 'Arse Dyno' is the only one that counts!! If it feels rapid it usually is lol
 
same make dyno mine got mapped on with a flat manifold and mine made 231 think it was
 
I drove a b20 a few days ago for the first time. (b20s are rare here) Well, wow. So much torque and so much power, I couldn't handle the feeling in me. It was somewhere around 200hp and 150-155 lb/ft. B20 bottom, b16 head with gsr cams, itr tranny and intake. Exhaust was so silent in the beginning, then in vtec the engine was roaring so loud I could jizz. God i need to save up for one. (despite the injectors the internals were stock as far as I know)
