High milage and its been in an accident. Its normal for family members to sell cars within family for next to nothing for tax reasons.
Your brother had the accident I take it if he was the 5th owner.
Looks like it was painted white in 2011.
What does the word "sump" mean? Someone else said it too, and I have no idea what it means.
Take it no declaration of engine swap? Maybe you should stop looking now. We know what's in ther and we can leave him be about it.
i vote b18c - i've copied the vids and threads onto honda tech for opinions.
I dont know about other state laws but in California:
The California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) maintains strict rules regarding engine replacement or change. In addition to regulating engine changes, certification and inspection will be required by BAR prior to any vehicle with an engine change being allowed to legally operate on California roads.
If this is not done and you have an accident ones insurance may be void and all falls on the person without insurance.
Maybe it does not apply in Georgia.
^ lol the whole worlds going to know about his engine swap now, if he'd have just said yeah its got b16-18 whatever noone would have thought anything of it lol
I recon b16a with a few mods, exhaust manifold looks alittle thin to be 2.5" unless he's got like a 2.75" catback.
B18 would be needed to haul that roll cage around over the lower TQ in the b16.

If anything, not telling others will only gain more attention from the wrong folks.
This is what i've been trying to say all along
I'm gonna go ahead and guess that this engine is a B16B with some upgraded parts.... The main reason i say this is that i think the B16B is very rare in the U.S and i think that might be why michael keeps it so secret
