Looks ready for business almost too clean now haha!

Bay pics please? What a turn around bet you didnt expect it to go this far?

I will get some bay pics up soon enough, still need to finish the bulk head, because I didnt have the motor out the bulkhead is getting done in black stonechip so should look tidy

It is too clean for a track car now tbh but ever since I sold my white facelift ek9 ive always wanted another nice champ white ek and I really like the prefacelift front so its a bonus. The bonnet is a new fiberglass item and fits quite well, its a few mm too high on the passenger side but for fiberglass I cant complain

Your right mate, never expected it to go this far when I 1st bought it but its hard not to

SCRAP! Looks Superb mate! Cant wait to push you around kirky now, trade a bit of that fresh paint an all that. :D

Looking forward to the next trackday myself mate but if you touch the paint we will fall out lol :p You def wont be running into the back of anyone with those seriously good brakes anyway

I will have to take a spin down and grab those pads off you or you could call up if you wanted to lift the bonnet?

Im working Sat, Sun, Mon but Im finished at 8pm each day if that suits. If not there is no real rush we can sort out something for another day we are both off

Since the weather was good I got the track car out for a run today and took a few pics while I was out

I fitted a new SIR non-airbag dash and cut it a lot neater this time, apart from that I changed my m-factory ratios again for a shorter 4th and 5th. After re-fitting the box and testing I found the driver side driveshaft seal weaping oil so I replaced that, changed gearbox oil again, engine oil and finished the engine bay

All I need now is 2 new front tyres and a brake fluid change and its ready for the next trackday

Looks so clean for a track car! How you finding the new ratios??

Dad has to change the driveshaft oil seal on his now, leaking a tad, you happen to have a Honda part number?

The new ratios are really good but a you couldn't go any distance in the car as the revs are very high at 60mph in 5th gear

The passenger and drivers side seals are both different so you need to know which side is leaking first?

What a transformation mate looks the part :)

Cheers, its a bit different from when I first bought the car but a lot of money and time has went into building it

By way of an introduction, I have bought this from Stephen (who was a gentleman to deal with).

I plan to race it next season, and consequently will continue to develop it with the usuals.

Ie:-
Fire extinguisher
6 Point harness
Plastic windows
Battery cuttoffs
And if there is such a thing, a quiet but still unrestrictive backbox. (I'm getting old!)
