:naughty: Finally got mate to come round and sort the soldering that needed to be done and we fitted the loom. Also a lad from civic life pointed out my lca's were upside down (lol) so I turned them around

Got it running today for the first time. Had a few problems with petrol leaking out of the top of the fuel filter and the idle was all over but both easy fixes. It should be running fine and mot'd by wednesday. On target for japfest up to now! Pictures and updates to follow in the next few days
 
Thanks mate. I've put 8 hours a day in for the last 3 weeks just to get it ready. I'll take it all out in the winter and tidy everything up but i'm not missing a summer of driving for anything
 
It seems alot of people are going k series,the conversion so much easier with the parts available great build.
 
I ran into a problem while fitting my air filter

The washer bottle had to be removed to make room for filter and it wouldnt get through its MOT without one so off down the scrapyard I went and found an EG civic. I used its coolant bottle to make a new washer bottle that fit

Thanks mate :). I haven't either I've been looking at some of the meets and they're way down South. Are there many Honda's near you? Quite a few of my mates have EP3's

Tell me about it lol yeah there are a fair few of my mates with ep's a dc5, fd2 and one of my mates is in the process of a eg turbo build. We should get a cumbria/north west meet on the go! Would love a look at your ek.

I sold a black ek4 to a bloke in barrow last year, chris he was called, well built bloke.
