Ive been speaking to my own importer and a few other companies about importing in an ek9 at the end of the year.
One of the importers, who I contacted, quoted me a very good price indeed. However, I would need to go down to either Liverpool or Southhampton docks to collect the car, then mot, tax and register it myself.
Ive been doin some thinking, and the only thing that puts me off is, what do I do if the car fails its mot, and how would I go about driving the car home from the docks as it will have no plates. A friend of mine said, insurance should not be a problem, as long as I can give them the chassis number?
Is this worth doing, or dyou reccon I'm best off payin the little bit extra, and getting one over thats tax'ed mot'd and ready to roll?
Thanks for any info
