Hi,
I have the B16A2 EK4, i have this mods
1- cold Air intake
2- Exedy oem cluth with F1 racing flywheel
3- NGK Iridium Sparks
4- Final pipe exaust
5- EBC disk brakes
6-stell brake lines GOODRIDGE

I have doubt what i need to buy for increase performance spend a little money. (Light tune)

Its hard to find B18´s, I live in Madeira Island Portugal
Here there only 3 EK4 and one ITR lool
 
Remove uneeded interior parts to lighten weight. Cheapest and one of the most effective performance + economy mods!!

x2 we manage to run 10.9 1/4 mile on a crx with a built b20/vtec = 269hp we did so much weight reduction that now it only weight 1780lbs with driver included.

But i want increase power on motor.
What is the first modificarions i need to do?
Mu moms Car is a CRV 98 have B20B3 :D i can make a swap loool jkg!

change your cams to b16b cams, recently change mine. It's a great upgrade, and you will definitely notice the difference.

Purely for performance I would not replace the flywheel, thats more a thing for feeling of the clutch then speed gain. Will maybe gain you 0.2s to 60mph, nothing significant after that. Spark plugs won't gain you power either, unless your old ones are so bad that you're losing power. Instead of your muffler, I'd take out the cat and put a decat or sports cat in place. Stock cat is really restrictive. I would not change the disc brakes or brake lines, I would change my brake fluid for some new fluid and change my brake pads. I liked yellow stuff for the money. It's not so expensive with nice performance. The rest of EBC's collection I would not touch, heard many bad things about it, almost no good from experienced users.

No but there are some cheap mods to make your B16 Civic run faster. Like removing the decat.
 
Económico cheap.
Its hard to find b16b cams in my country. Because Honda Portugal doesnt sell ctr. I can buy itr cams but its to expensive. Im thinking buying sport cat.

You don´t have to buy new, look around on forums and you might find something good for a nice price...postage on cams can´t be that expensive?
 
Programmable ECU/ECM. This will gain 5-10hp. pending on the tuner.
 
689R - as kozy said is spot on, of anything cheap mods can make your car perform worse.

i had an EK4 i put performance ngk sparks, ngk leads, halfords airfilter and then got a twinloop and some ebc pads....I runined the car basically......

it was fine obviously it still worked it just made a louder noise but it was exactly the same performance didn't feel any different at all if anything it felt worse....

realistically the best advice so far is,
change final drive - if you are confident with a spanner
Gut the cat or buy a decat.....
Strip weight....

you'll get power from decat better acceleration from the gear set and better power to weight ratio by removing weight....also it will handle better with the striped weight.

i sold a set of 00 ctr cams for 180 euro last week...

on topic : id say final drive also, gearbox mods ftw with hondas....

or pick up a stock b20b bottom end, slap your head on n away you go, cheap 200bhp and buckets of torque
