Well I'm thinking of turbo'ing my B16a2 and I'm hearing good thinks about Go Autoworks so was wondering has anyone on here used there 'street' kit and what are you're opinions??

As of 11/11/11; ALL of our GO-AUTOWORKS Street Kits will come with A/C compatible downpipe options in 2.5" or with a 3" flared choice! All kits will come with the newly redesigned cast manifold for the D and B series. The default base turbo option will be the Turbonetics T3 Super 60 (ideal for 200-325hp builds)

System Contents:

- GO-AUTOWORKS Cast Iron Manifold

- GO-AUTOWORKS SS 2.5" downpipe

- GO-AUTOWORKS 38mm MVS dumptube

- Turbo by Garrett or Turbonetics (see selection list)

- Tial 38mm MVS wastegate (14psi spring combination)

- Tial 50mm blow off valve or Turbonetics Duo 35

- GO-AUTOWORKS Pro Oil Kit

- GO-AUTOWORKS Race charge pipe kit

- GO-AUTOWORKS bar & plate intercooler

- (6) high quality silicone reinforced couplers (black)

- (12) stainless T bolt clamps

The above is what's included what more is needed.
Car will be daily driven.
Also what can the stock internals take I'm hearing different figures any where from 250-400bhp just wondering what's correct..
And if any irish lads read this any suggestions where to fit the turbo/mapping.

Sorry about the long post, thanks for reading!

Kevin.

You cant go wrong with Go-Autoworks, only good reviews from customers about their products.

You will be able to safely run 300bhp on that B16A2.

Turbo option settle for the Garrett 57trim

You will need, injectors, clutch, air filter for the turbo, vacuum lines, and a mappable ecu such as a chipped obd1 ecu P28/P30

I do have a Go-Autoworks turbo kit for sale, its brand new but its abit too much for your power goal, unless you want more power in the future then its what you want.. have a look in the sale section here:

Cheers for the reply have the clutch in car already also have gearbox with 4.4 final drive so not in too bad a shape..

I have manifold and downpipe for sale if your interested pm me
Also contact vtec6000 on here he will fit and map it for you.

Go Autoworks are fine to deal with. I'd go for a mini ram or full ram manifold they flow a lot better than the log manifolds

the gearbox in the eg6 is 4.2 fd
i got done all of the work to it 4months ago

the engine in the car is ready for a turbo it has all the supporting mods for it

Ya I know that's why I bought it... I'll keep ya updated on how it's going.

Was wondering how you'd rate the log manifold?

Log manifolds are restrictive, sure people are running 300+ with a log manifold but you will make more power at the same boost level with a good ramhorn manifold and power up top will hold out a lot better compared to the log.

The mini ram or the full ramhorn manifold look so much better than the log I would use one of them unless your worried about cracking ect.

I'm using the Street Kit myself Kmitch.
Using the Turbonetics Custom T3/T04B turbo.

Feel free to have a gander at my build thread :)

Great thread can't wait to see how she ends up!!:nice:

Thanks mate.
Was off the phone to my mapper earlier, should be finished soon.
Just a few things left to do then all is left is mapping.

Obviously the Reidy Racing JDL kits beat both hands down though eh Lew!?

I hear you made some good results Lewis with your new build!?

To be honest a kit from a decent company from the USA is always better than the kits from the UK:nice::secret:
