I just got a RM-01A installed in the DC2. I can say that its very loud without the silencer on. At driving speeds around 3000rpm its boomy if you give it just a little throttle. I noticed immediately that the engine revs smoother and response is almost instantaneous. As the specs suggest, mid-range torque is increased and I can feel it. Top end feels a lot more powerful although this may also be psychological. I will take it to Hakone this weekend to do more tests.

Below the muffler is the JASMA seal essential to pass Shaken (Japanese MOT)

Without the silencer. I took it out from the garage so I still don't know how much softer it is.

Will keep everyone posted.

my bro is thinking to install this one in his dc2 ,it looks nice.can you take another picture from behind little further?,also if possible post a video at idle.

Nice! Looks like you just changed the muffler. Top end should feel better. Maybe when you upgrade the headers next time you should upgrade from cat back. Should feel more gains especially from a B18C.

All cannon type mufflers are all the same, whether its fujitsubo, apexi, tanabe etc etc. Id just prefer to get a generic good looking muffler to save money.

Sits nice :nice:, see lots of Tegs usually with big cans that hang too low or stick out too far.

looking good! I have a dc2 98 spec also! :D

I hate my exhaust! check out why!

geez rvm, the piping is too low. Cant it be fixed to go over the strut? I cant imagine what happens at a speed bump

you go over it sideways and it's fine... besides in Japan, speedbumps aren't really that common so for others to purchase it for their home market... welp...smashed pipes might be an inclusive feature... :p

Guys. The RM-01 set is a muffler and B-pipe (centre cat back). I had both changed. Since its designed to fit like the stock system, there is no worries what so ever. Goes nicely over the arms. Will try to get a photo tomorrow.

No_Fear: How much further back do you want the photo?

Rvm: What system does your have? looks a little backyard done mate.

Jugbugz: Thanks for the suggestion. However, I ma planning to keep the stock 4-1 manifold. Since I don't intend to tinker with the engine, I will keep it. Its more than sufficient.

Also, I bought this exhaust used. So its probably louder than the specs when new. If it gets to unbearable I will have to get it repacked.

RSR Exhaust, but I want to change it, I can't pass speed bumps or bumps at all!
