Playing with the idea of a DC5 at the mo, met a local one at at RR meet at the weekend, quick run on an uphill slip road

The 5 has Kakimoto and breathing mods. he made 199 HP

My 9 has S300 and breathing mods 179 HP 128 Lb FT tuned by RDT.

EK9's are far cooler than DC5's

Didnt seem to be much in it at all - now go B18c it and ask him for another run.

dont say that, really want to but im told decent b18 lumps are hard to come by....

Doesnt matter, get a b18 and give it a good build and it'll be strong and reliable as ever.

Was that on alan jefferys rollers? and flywheel figures? (dont think he gives wheel figures so daft question really!)

That run up the slip road is always a favourite hehe.

get a dc5 by the time your done putting parts into a b18c engine and handling you would buy a dc5 and have change. get a good exuast and remap on dc5 and be done with it

Kept on it and you probably coulda got him! But b18 is def. something to consider!

its was STUNNING.

Yes flywheel mate. very accurate as RDT said it was 150 ATH.

I really dont think the 9's suspension needs touching if its in good nick.

i love it when you start reeling him in in 3rd gear

my favorite part of the race :nice:

didnt go into 4th, stayed in 1st a long time to get a good jump to 2nd.

Sweet, my b16a made 189 on those rollers so i know its a healthy motor.

Never had a chance to have a play with a dc5

Still running the standard ek4 ecu tho, so need to get hold of a pre facelift ek9 ecu to try.

In my opinion the DC5 has the nicest looking rear end out of any honda.
