Hi guys, i've managed to fit a set of evo 8 recaro's into my EK4 :drool obviously needed a few ajustments here and there and its nearly finished just waiting for some brackets on the rear ( they will sit level then ), just thought i would share some pictures let me know what you think :))

i like em... atleast the harness holes are seperated, a mate has normal recaros and have heard him complain about the straps moving over.

Thanks, basicly i cheated a little bit with mine i angle grinded the 4 brackets that bolt to the floor from the VTI Seats, Then the recaro brackets have been replaced with my old VTI Brackets ( welded ) then it will pretty much bolt up. It will be out on one side by about half an inch, i've had some custom brackets made which will be ready for monday.

ill get some pictures up of the brackets when its finished so you can have a better idear.
 
looks well, considering doing something similiar to my ek4, are them recaros expensive lad?

Hi, Yea they can be expensive i normally see them for sale around £400 - £700 depending on condition. Give us a shout if you wanted a hand.
 
Look good. You going to utilise the harness holes or stick to the standard belt?

haha already on it ordered a set of sabelt lightweight 4 point harness's in black just waiting for them to arrive now.
 
whats the weight of these recaros like compared the EK9 ones?
