Great work man
Looking great man, good progress! Rack looks tidy. What are you doing with the holes for the hoses? I was thinking of getting some bungs to screw in
Cheers man! It's getting there.
Yeh rack is all done now, I used 2 nice bungs I had left over from a new ABS block. And the larger ones I cut off the unions from the pipes and welded up the hole so it made it a bung.
I'll take a picture tomorrow.
That's what I'd like to of done! I think I might have to get a tig too!Oooo wait.. I can weld them up now!
She be reving happy after that sam !Contacted my machine shop today and they gave me a number for a company that they use for balancing.
So I'm taking the clutch, crank, rods, Pistons and crank pulley and all associated bolts to Bassett down balancing on Saturday morning to get the lot balanced.
Seems sensible to do it, thanks to @jesse888 and @robthedoc for the advice
In the mean time, I've got plenty of engine bay prep to be getting on with while the internals are away.
Nothing like letting a good bit of dirt and moisture in to your steering rack!Mine are all left open, because gypsy fab.
