Hey, just wondering if anyone put bodykits on their EK9's. Right now I am in the hopes of doing a EJ6 conversion to R pretty soon (live in canada, can't find any info on importing and think I can only wait till 2014 to get one) seen this body kit the BC-2 looks pretty sweet j/w if anyone with an EK9 got this body kit on theirs. Or post any other body kits on EK9's. Thanks

Honda Civic BC2 3 Door Body Kit (BC-2 Kit)

I hate bodykits.

But I like that weird scoop to the back on that picture. If I was going to ever change the EK9 body it would be to change the rear-bumper that acts as an air-brake at speed.

I think a body-kit is the wrong way to go for an EK9 conversion...I thought the whole point was to make it like an EK9.

To me, all the body-kits look the same; overdone and useless for performance.

If I was to put that bodykit on my EK9 it would just look more like an EK4/EJ9.

NO, NO, NO NO NO, NO NO NO NO NO, NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, NO.

Bad call man, OEM lines work, simple as. Sticking a bodykit on your Civic is like repainting the Mona Lisa with a skimpy top and slutty make-up, it just should never be..

Oh no! It's 1998 all over again! I wont lie, i was there, i had a 1992 civic 4 door with a full buddyclub kit and APR GT2 double deck aluminum wing, cut springs and a 3" muffler welded on my stock piping, it would be considered rice today, but back in those days, I WAS THE MAN!!!

lol, i knew i'd get ppl raging, I hate the look of the Civic (BC-2) kit thats the 2 Door, but all I like about the kit is rear and front, makes it look sharper. I hate the side skirts to it, for some reason it makes the car look "off".

I want to beable to try to get an import EK9 but it would only be 2014....only real way is Replica without the RHD conversion = too much time. How does replica sound, I know it's not the real thing but hey... (PS. 97-98 Trim vrs. 99-00) I see honestly no difference but bumpers? and is the high and length of the hatch different?

i personally wouldn't mind having a Rando kit on my EK9. those look sweet imo.

What an ugly body kits in this topic. Imho the only bumpers that really fit the EK9 is the BYS Air walker (or any replica) or the C-West bodykit. The later one doesn't have such a nice rear bumper imho but what I've been told, is that the C-West rear bumper reduces the drag caused by the rear bumper. So I guess it would be justified ;)

The skirts really do it justice.

tail lights (clear indicators/side lights on 99-00) grill (bigger/wider on 99-00) bonnet/hood (diff groves i think, plus different at the bottom to fit the grill), headlights? (im on about the wee bump on the 99-00 models, feel free to correct lol) thats all ive noticed on the outside, diff seats on interrior and i dont know if theres any diff in chassis or suspension (handling lol)

_JT, I think you are right on. The C West front bumper/sideskirts is the ONLY bodykit i would install on an EK civic. It compliments the curves and lines of the car far more than the other kits out there. The Air Walker is "ok".

personly not a fan of body kits , nice ek9 with maybe spoon or mugen carbon lip up front, and slamed will make it look sweet
